Modelling Clay Stories Based on “The Sea as a Gift”

We invite children on a magical journey to the sea — a place filled with fascinating creatures, rolling waves and an unusual gift that can bring happiness and wonder!
During our “Modelling Clay Stories” class, children will discover the charming book “The Sea as a Gift.” Together with the teacher, they will listen to and discuss the story, explore its characters, emotions and events, and then bring the world of the book to life using modelling clay.
Each child will have the freedom to use their imagination, add personal details and create a favourite character, a sea creature or an entire scene from the story. There are no identical creations and no “wrong” ideas — every child’s work is unique and valuable.
The class combines storytelling, creative modelling, play and communication. Through these activities, children will develop:
fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination;
imagination and creative thinking;
vocabulary and storytelling skills;
concentration and patience;
emotional awareness and understanding of others;
self-confidence and pride in their own work.
We provide a warm and supportive environment where children can create without pressure, ask questions, share their ideas and experience a sense of achievement. At the end of the class, every participant will take home their own modelling clay creation and a special memory of the sea story we explored together.
This is more than a modelling activity — it is an imaginative adventure that helps children experience a book through creativity, play and their own ideas.
